Hi friends! It’s been a while since I’ve popped into your inbox, and wow, has life changed around here! After years of school lunches, busy schedules, sporting events, and the never-ending question of what's for dinner, the house is suddenly a whole lot quieter. It’s such a strange mix of emotions. I’m incredibly proud of the young adults they’ve become and excited to watch them find their own way. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss having them around (and yes, even the chaos sometimes!). One thing I’ve been thinking about lately is how much our role as moms changes as our kids grow. They might not need us to pack their lunches or remind them to grab breakfast anymore, but they still need us. Just in different ways. And while my own kitchen looks a little different these days, I know so many of you are right in the thick of school lunches, after-school activities, and the never-ending question of what’s for dinner? So I thought I’d share a few recipes and resources to help make this school year a little easier! As winter slowly starts to pass, life around our house feels like it’s shifting too. We’re in the middle of my daughter’s senior year of high school, my son is back on campus for his second semester of sophomore year already, and everything feels like it’s moving just a little faster than before. Even with all those changes, slow cooker meals are still one thing I can always count on. They make busy days easier, give us plenty of leftovers, and I love being able to freeze a few meals to send...
